Customer: How to Display QR for Loyalty Redemption

Important Note

  • Customers can only scan QR code using their Beep or Touch 'n Go App only.

  • For new Cashback users you must enable Membership to use Cashback, refer to this article for more information.


POS View

This feature enables effortless redemption of rewards/discounts for your customers, eliminating the need for manual customer details entry.

To generate the QR code, simply follow these steps:

1. Go to StoreHub POS App, click on the 3 lines menu button on the left side, select Settings.

2. Under General tab, toggle ON QR Display for Loyalty Redemption.

3. If you're using an Android device with a Customer Facing Display (CFD) (E.g.: iMin D4 / Sunmi T2), when creating or editing an order, the QR code is displayed automatically on the Customer Facing Display. Customers can only use Beep or Touch 'n Go App to scan the QR code.

Note: This applies for Android devices with attached Customer Facing Display (CFD) and standalone Customer Facing Display Apps.

3a. If you're using an iPad or Android device without built-in Customer Facing Display (CFD) (E.g.: iMin D1, Falcon 1, etc.), you can use another device (such as another iPad or Android tablet) and install the Customer Facing Display Apps to act as the CFD.

3b. If you don’t use a secondary device as a CFD (as mentioned in 3a), the QR code will be displayed on the register screen (the main device screen). Customers can only use the Beep or Touch 'n Go app to scan the QR code.

[Alternative] Add Customer Manually (Click to expand)

Alternatively if customer has no Beep App or Touch 'n Go eWallet, follow steps below:

1. Select the Add Customer Manually button.

2. Then you may select customer for existing customer list or select Add to add new customers. Refer to this article and learn more on how to add new customers.

5. Upon scanning the QR code, customer details will be saved based on the information updates in Touch 'n Go and Beep App. Cashback will be applied at the checkout automatically.

Notes:

  • Customers can inform the cashier If customer plans to not utilize the cashback. tap on Beep Cashback & toggle OFF the Use Cashback option.


  • If customers would like to use Cashback, all Cashback will apply; customers will not be able to redeem partial credits.

6. When checking out, you will notice that the cashback has been successfully applied.


Customer View

If you have a Customer Facing Display, the QR code will be displayed for the customer to scan the QR Code using their personal Beep or Touch 'n Go App.

View on Customer Facing Display:

Scan using Beep / Touch 'n Go App.

Customer will see the following display message if they have more than RM 0 of Cashback Balance.
