How to choose which stores can sell online, setting up delivery and pickup, and email notifications for online orders.

Updated over a year ago

What You Will Learn in This Guide

  • Specifying stores that can sell your items on the Webstore

  • Determining items that are for delivery and pickup (or both)

Choose which Stores can "Sell Online"

You may have enabled your Online Store, but you still need to choose an Online Store and specify whether it can provide the ability for Delivery, In-Store Pickup, or both.

1. At your BackOffice, click the Online Orders, then click Webstore.

2. Click Webstore Setup.

3. In the Store Settings tab, you will see a list of your stores.

4. Select a store

5. In the Sell Online section, click the checkbox next to Sell this store's inventory on Webstore/Beep Delivery/QR Order and Pay

6. Click Save

Fulfilment method (Delivery or Pickup)

1. On the same page, and still on the Sell Online section, find Fulfillment method

2. Here, you can click the checkbox for whichever type of fulfillment method you want to offer to your customers

Note:

  • Be sure to set up Shipping Zone if you're intended to fulfill online orders via delivery.

  • The dedicated guide for this feature can be found in the Shipping Zone article.

Email Notification for Online Orders

You can also set the email address you want to receive updates for Online Orders.

By default, it automatically goes to the main email address used during the StoreHub account creation.

Notes:

  • This option benefits if you plan to have a dedicated person/team to handle online orders (other than the owner) or you have more than 1 physical store which can handle online orders, and you want each store to focus on orders in its own store.

Simply enter the email address in the text field and email notifications for any Online Orders from this store will be sent to that email address.

To select what notification to receive, check/uncheck the options:

New Order - Paid

When an online order is fully paid.

New Order - Pending Payment

When a customer has uploaded proof of payment for an online order which was checkout via offline payment method.

New Order - Pending Payment Verification

When a customer has placed an online order which was checkout via offline payment method.
