Set Up your iPad

1. Turn on the iPad then, at the Welcome screen with a Hello; slide the screen to the right.

2. Choose your Language and Country/Region


3. If your store business has an Apple ID, you may place your existing Apple device (iOS 13.1 and above) close to the new iPad to sign in (Quick Start).

Otherwise, tap Set Up Manually and follow the steps below to create one:

Notes:

  • We recommend using an Apple ID created specifically for your store as using your personal Apple ID may cause your personal iMessages and e-mails may appear on the iPad

  • Your store's Apple ID should be linked to an e-mail address that you'd be comfortable letting any employee have access to

  • The Apple ID and password should be easily accessible to employees in case needed; installing or re-installing apps

  • Your store's Apple ID can be used for multiple iPads; you do not need to make one for each register

4. Select your Keyboards language

5. Join your WiFi Network with/without a password

6. Read the Data & Privacy and tap Continue


7. It is optional for you to set up Touch ID/Passcode


8. For Apps & Data, you may choose either Restore from Backup, Move from Android or Set up as a new iPad

9. Agree to the iPad's Terms and Conditions

Note: Below are some other optional features that you may enable or disable, according to your preference:

  • Express Settings

  • Location Settings

  • Screen Time

  • Daily Diagnostic Report to Apple

10. Read the introductory iPad features, click Continue and tap Get Started

Configure your iPad

To ensure that your StoreHub app runs smoothly on your iPad, follow these steps:

1. On your iPad, ensure that your iPad has been updated to the latest iOS version by going to

  • Settings

  • tap General

  • tap About

  • then look for iPad OS Version

Note: Refer here on how to update your iPadOS.

2. Ensure that your screen's Auto-Lock is set to Never by going to:

  • Settings

  • Go to Display & Brightness

  • Then toggle Auto-Lock to Never

Note: This step will make sure that your Bluetooth printer and/or barcode scanner runs smoothly.

3. Still in Settings, scroll to App Store and toggle on Apps and App Updates
