Updated this week

Who Is This For?

StoreHub merchants setting up, updating, or syncing the StoreHub POS app on iPad or Android devices.

Overview

This article covers everything you need to get the StoreHub POS app running on your device. You will learn how to download the app on iPad, keep the app updated (including on StoreHub Android POS, where the app is pre-installed), sync data between your POS and BackOffice, and fix common app issues like crashes and storage alerts.

Before You Begin

  • Your iPad must be 7th Generation or above, running iOS 13.1 or newer.

  • Android POS devices must be running a supported OS version.

  • You need a stable internet connection (WiFi or LAN recommended).

  • Your Apple ID must be set up before downloading on iPad. Refer to this article for more details.

  • Desktop computers, iPhones, and standard mobile phones are not supported.

Note:

On Android

Most merchants use Android POS hardware from StoreHub. The device arrives with the StoreHub POS app installed and bonded to your account, so there is no separate install-from-Play-Store step. Open the app. When an update disclaimer or pop-up appears, follow the steps under Update the StoreHub POS App below.

Sync Data Between BackOffice and POS

Syncing ensures that any changes you make in BackOffice (products, prices, settings) appear on your POS, and that sales data from your POS is sent back to BackOffice.

1. Log in to your StoreHub POS app using your 4-digit PIN.
