How to create your restaurant table layout in the BackOffice for Static QR.
Important Note
This is article 8 of 8 in the QR Order and Pay: Basic Setup collection. We recommend following the articles in the right sequence to set up QR Order and Pay for your business.
If you're using Dynamic QR (print unique QR codes with your receipt printer):
The table layout only needs to be set up on your POS. This is already complete if your POS is active, or refer to this article to learn how.
BackOffice table layout setup is not required. You may skip this article and read article 7 of 8 on QR Order and Pay: 7 - How to Print Dynamic QR codes.
If you're using Static QR (fixed QR codes with Stickers or Standees):
Follow this article to create your tables in the BackOffice.
The table layout in the BackOffice does not sync with the layout on your POS Register.
This guide only shows you how to create tables. The actual layout of tables must be done on your POS. Refer to this article to learn how.
How to Create Tables for QR Order and Pay
2. On the Tables tab, click Add Table.
3. Enter your Table Name & Seating Capacity then click Save.
Example: Table Name: A1 , Seating Capacity: 4
4. The newly added table should now appear in the table list and sync to the QR Order and Pay.
5. To submit a request, go to QR Order and Pay under the Online Orders section; then click on Store Settings and select the designated store.
6. Scroll down and click on New Request.
7. Select the Table Numbering drop down menu, and select Import from Table Layout; then select Submit Request.
Note:
Automatic Option: Select this if you want the QR Order and Pay table stickers to be automatically generated.
Counter Service Option: Choose this if you only need counter service stickers.
