QR Order and Pay: How to Add Pax Count to the Dine-In Flow

  • Since the pax count is entered by customers, the data may vary at times.


Requirements to Enable This Feature

This feature allows your customers to enter the number of pax before placing an order. To access it, make sure the following are in place:

Don’t want customers to add the pax count? You can still do it via POS—just follow the steps in this article.


BackOffice Settings

1. On the BackOffice, go to Settings and click the F&B tab.

2. Under the General section, you will see Enable Input Number of Pax in POS and QR Order & Pay checked.

This setting is automatically enabled when all requirements are in place. You can untick the option if you don’t wish to use it.


Customer Order Flow

1. When a customer scans the QR code, they will be prompted to enter the total number of pax at the table.

2. After selecting the pax count, they can tap Start Ordering and begin adding items to the cart.
