  • If the order has not been paid but the QR code has expired, you can print a new one instead and the orders will still be present

  • If a table has a static QR code and a dynamic QR code, your customer can scan either one at any time without the existing order being lost or duplicated

FAQ

1. I need help setting up Dynamic QR for my business.

Our Customer Care agents are happy to help! Please reach out to us via Live Chat using the methods listed in this article.

2. What are the differences between static QR codes and dynamic QR codes?

  • Both QR codes do the same thing, which is to allow your customers to view your Beep menu and order while at your store

  • Static QR codes are the collaterals you purchase from StoreHub - each code is tied to a specific table and is not interchangeable

  • Dynamic QR codes can be printed at any time, via your receipt printer. They have validity periods that you can adjust

3. Can I cancel a dynamic QR code that has already been printed?

No, dynamic QR codes cannot be cancelled before it expires.

4. What happens if customers request to change or split tables?

Go ahead and change or split the tables first to retain existing orders - then for changing tables, you will need to print a new QR code for the new table; for splitting table, print a new QR code for the other table that is now occupied.

Ensure that the table has been created in your BackOffice and also the POS to perform any merge/split/moving tables. Refer to this article.

5. When setting validity periods, is there a minimum or maximum duration that I can set?

The shortest duration that you can set is 1 hour, but there is no maximum duration. However, we recommend setting a reasonable validity period to reduce the risk of prank orders.

For Dynamic QR users, your QR Order & Pay setup is now complete.
