Product Set Up: How to Set Up Minimum and Maximum Price Range

Here’s how you can set up your products with minimum and maximum prices.

Important Notes

  • This setting does not apply to Online Stores

  • This only applies to Variable Pricing Type only

  • This feature applies to StoreHub POS app V1.61 and above


Set up on BackOffice

1. In your BackOffice, select Products and click on Add Products

2. Fill in the Product Name and scroll to the Pricing section, under the Pricing type, select Variable.

3. Fill in the Price, Minimum Price, Maximum Price and other necessary information.

4. Click Save.

If the product has a variant, set the pricing on each of the Child products instead of the Parent Product, and here is how:

1. After adding the variant options on the Parent product, click into the Child Product

2. On the Child Product, set the minimum and maximum price.

3. Click Save.

4. Repeat steps for all the Child Products.

Note:

  • Maximum Price can't be the same as minimum price.


Product on POS

Cashier will be able to add to cart and input a minimum or a maximum price.

1. On the POS, long press on the Product to view stock and price.

You will be able to view the minimum and maximum price of the product.

2. Key in the minimum or maximum amount of the product.

You could also search for the product and view the price list.

1. On the POS, click on the search logo and type in the product name.

2. Key in the negotiated amount of the product and click confirm

If price is lower than minimum amount:

If price is lower than maximum amount:

Notes:

  • Cashiers are able to add discounts manually and the price may be lower than minimum price.

  • Receipt will only display the final price.

  • An error will prompt if the cashier amount is not within the minimum and maximum amount.
