What is Boost Google Reviews

As part of the StoreHub Engage ecosystem of customer loyalty features, Boost Google Ratings allows your Beep QR or offline customers to leave star ratings for your stores.

If your customers leave a rating of four stars or higher, they have the option of also sharing their reviews on Google, which will reflect on your Google Review listing.

How to enable this feature (For Beep QR Merchants)

Step 1:

In your BackOffice, click ”Engage” > “Campaign Set Up”

Note: If you have not set up an Engage campaign before, click “Try for Free Now” after clicking “Campaign Set Up” at the side menu

Step 2:

Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Customer Feedback section and click “Set Up Campaign”

Step 3:

Once on the Boost Google Review page where you get to view the SMS content which will be sent out to your Beep QR customers.

Step 4:

If you are happy with your message, click “Publish”

Step 5:

If you’re sure that you want to publish the campaign, click “Confirm” when a pop-up appears.

How Boost Google Reviews work for customers

1. Receiving notification to submit a review

For Pay Later stores – Customers will receive a notification right after the payment is made – they will be sent either a push notification on their Beep App, or an SMS if they use Beep Web.

For Pay Now stores – Customers will receive a notification 30 minutes after payment – this is to allow them to enjoy their meals first before submitting a review.

2. Writing a review and giving star ratings

At the “Thank you” page after a payment is made, the customer will have the option to leave a text review and give a 1-to-5 star rating.

By ticking the “Allow this store to contact me directly” field, your customers can choose to allow their contact details to be viewable to you, the merchant.

3. Sharing reviews on Google

Upon submitting a review, if the customer has given four or five stars, they can choose to also copy and paste their review onto Google, which will appear on your Google Reviews listing.

These extra positive reviews that you receive on Google serve to entice even more diners to your business.
