Important Notes

  • We advise performing the migration after business hours to prevent any disruption in service.

  • Before migrating, ensure that you have no open orders and that the current shift is closed.

  • The old iOS StoreHub App will gradually be phased out, leaving only the new iOS StoreHub App in use.

  • The migration process will require about 5 minutes of your time to perform.

  • To use the New iOS POS app, ensure that your iPad is of the 7th Gen model or above, running on iOS 13.1 or newer.

Steps to migrate to the new iOS StoreHub App

Notes:

  • Ensure that your iPad's operating system is updated to at least iOS 13.1. To find out how, read this article here

  • Ensure there are no open orders and that the current shift is closed. Then, press the SYNC button multiple times. This is to ensure the app data uploads correctly and to avoid any issues with missing transactions or reports.

1. In your BackOffice, select Settings, then select iPad Register.

2. Select your existing iPad register, scroll down, and select Deactivate.

3. Go to the Apple App Store and download the new StoreHub Point of Sale (NEW).


Setting up the new iOS StoreHub App

1. Launch the new iOS StoreHub App and sign in using your account ID and password.

2. Select register to activate.

3. When prompted, allow app permissions such as sending notifications, using GPS, and finding other devices within the local network

4. Next, set up your printers

  • Go to Settings, select Printer.

  • Search Printer.

  • Assign printers accordingly.

  • Print test receipt.

  • Toggle on Always Print Receipt.
