Important Note

  • Migrating table layout from Old iOS POS app to Android POS app would not be feasible if table layout has already been set up in the Android POS system.


Migration of Table Layout to New iOS POS

The old iOS POS will be retired in the future and replaced by New iOS POS with greater & more powerful functionality. All merchants will need to be migrated to the new iOS POS.

This guide is perfect for you to ease the migration process, you will not need to create a new table layout on new iOS POS all over again.

Before you begin, the following criteria need to be met:

  1. There is currently no table layouts enabled on the New iOS POS app or Android POS

  2. Table layout is enabled in the Old iOS POS app

Once you’ve met the criteria, here are a few ways you can migrate your table layout:

Option 1: Re-activate Register

After downloading the new iOS POS app, deactivate the register in the BackOffice, then re-activate the account using the New iOS POS app.

Upon doing so, the table layout will be migrated automatically - if successful, a pop up will appear at the top of your POS register saying Your table layout is now migrated. Edit Table Layout Now.

Option 2: Sync in POS

Make sure to activate the table layout in New iOS POS by going to Settings, select Table Layout then Toggle on Enable Table Layout.

Once the Table Layout is enabled on the POS, tap on Sync.

Option 3: Edit Table Layout

The last entry option is you can just head over to Settings, select Table Layout then tap on Edit Table Layout.

A pop up at the top of your register will state that your Table Layout has been successfully migrated.
