Adding Item-Level Notes or Instructions via Beep QR
1. Customers tap and select a menu item, which will take them to the Product Details Page.
2. Tap on the Add Special Instruction button.
3. Type out the instructions or notes to indicate your preferences or dietary requirements; then tap Save and Add to Cart.
Example: If a customer wants a drink to be less sweet, they could type Less sugar as a special instruction.
4. Tap Add to Cart.
5. This brings back the customer to the menu page where they can tap on the shopping bag icon to finalise their orders.
6. Tap Review Cart to place the order for dine-ins, or pay for deliveries.
Adding Notes or Instructions via POS
Item-Level Notes
1. Once an item has been added to the cart, the cashier can tap on the item, and then type the instructions in the Add Note field.
2. Tap an empty space to save the note, and the cashier can proceed to add notes to other items as well.
3. The notes will appear on the customer receipt and kitchen docket.
Order-Level Notes
1. Order-Level Notes or Instructions apply to all items in the order
Example: A family tells the server of their nut allergies - the cashier can place an Order-Level Note to instruct the kitchen crew to ensure every item in the order is nut-free.
2. Order-Level Notes can only be added using the POS Register
3. To add Order-Level Notes, tap the order subtotal, then type the note in the Order Note section.
4. The notes will appear in your kitchen dockets, order summaries, and receipts:
Editing Notes or Instructions On Your POS Register
1. From your POS register, tap on the three-dot menu on the top right of your screen and select Open Order.
2. Select the table that the order is placed from.
3. You will now be brought to the payment screen where all orders and their respective instructions can be viewed on the left of the display.
Note: Order-Level Notes cannot be edited for online orders.
