Creating add-on orders via your POS system
When a Pay Later order comes in, you will be able to see the existing list of items on your Open Orders page.
1. Access Pay Later open orders by tapping on the Open Orders button on the top left of your POS register
2. Then, tap on the open order that you would like to edit
3. A pop-up will appear warning you that the customer's promotions and cashback will be removed
4. From there, tap on the extra products you want to add to the existing order.
5. You will now see the newly added items appear in a separate list (Placed by [Cashier Name]) just below the original order (Placed by Customer).
Note:
You won’t be able to add items with variable pricing to QR orders. If you try to add one, you’ll see an error message. Variable pricing is only supported for POS orders.
6. Tap Save to lock in the order and print it out as a kitchen docket.
7. When the customer is ready to pay, tap on the total amount at the bottom right of the register to proceed to the checkout page.
8. During this process, tapping on anything other than “Save” or the total amount will prompt a popup warning you that your changes have not been saved.
Preventing Payment Errors
1. When your customers are performing a payment on their smartphones, you will not be able to make changes to the order from your POS for 5 minutes or until the payment is complete.
2. Sometimes, payment may be delayed due to issues from a third-party payment provider; your customers will see the screen below:
3. When a customer is on the payment page, you are also unable to merge, split, or move orders from one table to another.
