What is a Customer-Facing Display?

The Customer-Facing Display is essentially a secondary screen to display orders and promotions.

With a customer-facing display, you will be able to show:

  • Ordered items

  • Total amount

  • Customer information


Which Devices Are Supported?


1. To use the Customer-Facing Display, you will need:

2. An Android Terminal that comes with a secondary screen.

3. The supported devices are:

  • Sunmi T2

  • Sunmi D2

  • iMin D4

4. Unsupported devices:

  • iMin Falcon 1

  • iMin D1


How do I use the Customer Facing Display?

1. To start using this feature, you must first activate your Android Register.

2. The Customer-Facing Display screen will be visible once your Register is activated.

3. If you'd like to insert advertisement images to the Customer-Facing Display screen, you may add the images at your BackOffice following the steps below.

4. In your BackOffice, go to Promotions

5. Customer Display, select + Add Customer Display Ad

6. On the next page, you will be able to Edit the Customer Display Ads.

7. Enter a name for your advertisement, then tick the Enable field.

8. Next, select a store to apply the advertisement.

9. Select the type of content you wish to display as your advertisement:

  • Images: Add promo posters to create a static image or a slideshow if you have multiple content.

  • Text: This lets you type out your promo message with no visuals.

10. Once you're done, click Save, then sync your StoreHub POS App.

Notes:

  • The images should ideally be 400px in Height and 600px in Width.

  • It takes about 60 seconds for multiple images to cycle.

  • It takes about 2 minutes of inactivity for the picture to become a full-screen screensaver.
