How to Import Customer Information Manually or via CSV and Export Customer Data

How to Import Customer Information Into StoreHub

1. Download the customer import CSV template in your BackOffice by going to Customers, then click Import CSV, then click Download template.

2. Fill up the template according to the required fields and save the file when you're done.

3. In your BackOffice, go to Customers, then click Import CSV, then click on Select File to select the previously saved CSV file and click Import.

4. You will see the status of your import in the table below.

Note: If the import status says Error, you may download the error CSV file and review the errors indicated.

5. Once the import is done, you will see the list of customers on the Customers page.



Editing Customer Information via Customer Import CSV Template

You may edit/update your customers' details by re-uploading the edited/updated Customer Import CSV Template onto your BackOffice.

Note: The updated information CSV file must match with the previous ones; be it e-mail, phone number or Member ID, to ensure that the system is able to identify the changes.


How to Export Customer Information Into CSV

1. In the BackOffice, go to the Customer title page.

2. Your customers' details will be listed on the page. Click on Export to CSV to download all customers' details into a CSV file.

3. For ≤10,000 logs:

  • The file will download immediately into a CSV file.

4. For >10,000 records:

  • A pop-up will appear notifying you that the CSV export will be sent to your email.

Note:

  • The email will be sent to the user who triggers the Export CSV action using the email address linked to your BackOffice account.

5. You'll need to click on the button for 'Download CSV Export', and the CSV file will be downloaded in a zip folder format.

6. Once downloaded, open the CSV file with a spreadsheet program (e.g., Google Sheets, Numbers, or Microsoft Excel).

Notes:

  • A single download can contain up to 10,000 logs. If your logs exceed this limit, the export will be sent to your email.


Error with Exporting

If the export process encounters an error, the system will notify you as follows:

a. Click the button to reinitiate the export.

Note:

  • If an export fails, please attempt the process again. If the problem continues, please contact the Customer Care Team for assistance.


b. Once the CSV file is downloaded (remember to extract it if it's in a zip folder), you can open it using standard spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers).

Notes:

  • You can generate Pivot Tables for further analysis using the downloaded CSV.
