Who Is This For?
Merchants turning on Beep Delivery for the first time. Also managers who need to change store setup, bank details for payouts, or go-live checks.
Overview
This article is the first-time setup path for Beep Delivery in BackOffice. It goes from store profile to turning the channel on: logistics basics, menu layout, payouts, and checks before you take live orders. Follow the steps in order when you launch a new store or when you audit setup.
Before You Begin
You have bank details ready for payouts. See here.
You already created products, or you plan to create them before go-live. See here.
You know whether you will use StoreHub riders, self-delivery, or both.
Step-by-Step Guide
Configure Store Settings
1. Go to 'Online Orders', then open 'Beep Delivery'.
2. Open 'Store Settings' and select your store.
3. Tick 'Sell this store's inventory online' so the rest of the Beep fields appear.
4. Under fulfillment, tick 'Delivery' and/or 'Pick Up' to match what you will offer at launch.
5. Tick 'New Order - Paid' if you want paid-order alerts on the paths you configure.
6. Assign the main register that should receive order notifications when your setup uses POS alerts.
7. Click 'Save'.
Note:
For every notification path in depth (email gateway, Manager, POS), read this article.
Set Beep opening days, hours, and pre-order window in Store Settings
Still under 'Store Settings' for the same store:
1. Enter or confirm the Google Map address for Beep (pick a row from search results for an accurate pin).
2. Set 'Beep opening days' and 'Beep opening hours'. Customers can only order for fulfilment inside this window.
3. Optionally set pre-order options (for example support up to five days ahead including today, per your product settings).
Notes:
Set your Beep end time about 30 minutes to one hour earlier than physical store closing if you want to avoid last minute kitchen load.
You can add break time or vacation dates here for planned closures; day-to-day pause during service is in the orders and availability article.
Enable products for Beep (and optional online-only price)
1. In BackOffice, go to 'Products' page.
2. Click open a product, then open the 'Online Info' tab.
3. Tick 'Beep Delivery / QR Order and Pay' so the item can sell on Beep Delivery (and related channels that share this flag).
4. Optionally tick Pre-Order Only if the SKU is only sold as a pre-order, or set an effective start date and time for the listing.
5. Click 'Save'.
Note:
For adding products and modifier rules in full, see here.
Configure Collection
1. In 'Online Orders', then open 'Beep Delivery', then open 'Collection'.
2. Click 'Create Collection', enter a title, then add conditions. Conditions decide which products appear: category, tags, or specific SKUs. Choose whether products must match all conditions or any condition.
3. Save the collection.
For more details on how to create 'Collections', see here.
Notes:
You can have up to one hundred collections; about eight top-level groups keeps mobile menus easy to scan.
For drag-and-drop sort order and campaign-led layout, read this article.
Configure Featured Products
1. Open 'Featured Products' under 'Beep Delivery'.
2. Click 'Add Product', search by name, and confirm. Up to eight items can surface as Best Sellers; out-of-stock items will not show even if listed here.
3. Save. Check the storefront.
For more details on how to create 'Featured Products', see here.
Note:
Featured items must already be on for Beep and sit inside valid collections.
Publish Beep Store
Open the 'General' tab only after Store Settings, products, Collection, and Featured Products are ready.
1. Turn on 'Enable Beep Delivery'. Turning this on also turns on Beep QR ordering for the account.
2. Tick alcohol or pork if applicable and accept the disclaimer when prompted.
3. Set minimum order for Beep Delivery if you use one.
4. Under Delivery Zone, click 'Edit'. Set zone name, choose StoreHub Automated Logistics or No, I'll manage my own deliveries, and set delivery radius and delivery rate. KM here means radius coverage from your pin, not road distance.
5. Add Store Logo and Beep Profile Picture (upload new art or reuse a product image). Under Beep Business Profile, click 'Edit' and enter the Brand Name customers see.
Notes:
Full rider programme detail, switching SHALP to self-delivery on live orders, and country nuances are in this article.
To learn how to Pause Beep Delivery Temporarily, see this article.
Show Google star rating on Beep (optional)
Beep can display Google star rating when the business is on Google Business Profile.
1. Create or claim the listing on Google via this link.
2. In BackOffice, go to 'Online Orders', then 'Beep Delivery', then 'Store Settings', and select the store.
3. Under Beep settings, set Google Map Address Location from the dropdown. Pick the pin that matches your real storefront. If you pick the whole commercial building, the wrong rating can attach.
And that's it! You should have your Google Star Rating displayed on Beep.
Beep in Touch 'n Go eWallet (Mini Program)
In Touch 'n Go eWallet, Beep appears as a mini program. The ordering screens match 'Beep web' and 'beepit.com'. Customers can only pay with Touch 'n Go eWallet in that path.
Note:
Each Touch 'n Go Beep mini program transaction carries a 2.5 percent payment gateway fee.
Find Beep mini program transactions in BackOffice
You will be able to find Beep mini program transactions in the 'Payouts' section in BackOffice. Here is how:
1. In BackOffice, click 'Online Orders', then open 'Payouts'. Scroll down until you see 'Completed Transactions', then click into the particular 'Order ID' you need.
On the individual order page, you will be able to see whether the order was made in the Touch 'n Go (TNG) Beep mini program in both 'Items Ordered' and 'Payment Details'.
Find Beep mini program payment gateway fees in your payout
1. To view payment gateway fees on Touch 'n Go Beep mini program orders, go to BackOffice, open 'Online Orders', then open 'Payouts'. On the Payouts page, click 'Export Payout Details'.
2. In the exported file, under the 'Payment Gateway Fees' column, values that are 2.5 percent of the 'Product Revenue' are Beep mini program transactions.

FAQs
1. Should I set promotions during first setup?
No. Promos are not required to launch. Finish core setup and one clean test order first. Add campaigns after service feels stable.
2. Do I need both rider mode and self-delivery?
No. Start with one mode your team can run well. Add the second later if you need it.
3. Can I complete setup tabs out of order?
You can save some tabs in different order, but the recommended sequence is Store Settings, Collection, Featured Products, then General. That order avoids dependency mistakes.
4. Can I finish setup without products yet?
You can save progress without products. Customers will not see a usable menu until products are on and inside active collections.
5. Where do I set pause mode and vacation time?
Pause and vacation are day-to-day controls after go-live. Manage them in this article.
