How to split items from an order into separate tables of orders
Important Note
This feature applies to POS and QR Order and Pay orders only, not Beep Delivery orders.
Splitting Orders with Table Layouts Enabled
1. At the table layout page, tap the three-dot menu button on the top right corner of your screen.
2. Tap Split, then select a table.
3. You will now see a list of items ordered at that table; tap on any of the items to split them into a separate list.
4. If you wish to complete the transaction, tap the Pay button at the bottom.
OR
If you wish to save the two separate orders, tap the Save Order button on the top right corner of your screen.
Splitting Tables
1. After splitting items into separate orders, the table should now have multiple orders.
2. Tap the three-dot menu button, tap move order.
3. Tap the table that contains the order you wish to move, then tap the list of orders that need to be moved. Select Move Order.
4. Select a new table to move the orders to.
Notes: You cannot move Beep QR orders to a table that already has another Beep QR order; only empty tables or one with POS orders will work.
Splitting Orders with Table Layouts Disabled
1. Tap the Open Order button & tap the order that you wish to split.
2. Select the items from the list to be moved into a separate order.
3. To complete the transaction, tap the Pay button.
OR
To save the open order, tap the Save Order button on the top right corner of your screen.
Splitting Beep QR Orders
Via Table Layouts Page
1. At the Table Layout page tap the three-dot menu button on the top right corner of the screen & tap Split.
2. Choose a table that contains the Beep QR order, then you will then see the QR order with the corresponding order number.
3. After tapping the order, a warning will appear saying that all promotions and Cashback applied to the QR order will be removed.
Note: To re-apply the promotion or Cashback, please advise your customer to scan the QR code and apply the code again at the Table Summary page.
4. Select the item that needs to be split into a separate order
5. You will now see the item moved into a second list on the right, choose either Pay or Save Order.
Note: If you choose to save the order, you will need to select a new table to move the split order to.
6. If you choose to split save the order, a pop-up will appear saying the order has been split successfully
Via Open Orders Page
1. Tap the three-dots menu button on the top right corner of the screen & tap Open Orders.
2. Tap the three-dots button again, then tap Split.
3. Tap on the Beep QR that you wish to split.
4. When you see a list of orders appear, tap on the items that need to be split.
5. You will now see two order lists, tap Pay or Save.
