Identify WiFi Network

In the Printer Settings page, you will be able to see which network the device is connecting by looking at the top right corner of your screen.

This will help you better identify if you're connecting to the correct network.

Refer to these articles and learn more on how to set up default network connection on your POS Register.

Identify Failed Print Job

When there's a printing error, a pop-up message will be permanently displayed on top of the POS register header:

1. Select Go to Printer Settings as it will lead you to the Printer Setting page.

In the Printer Settings page, printer error is indicated on left sidebar and the view error section.

2. To view the list of printing errors, select Kitchen Printing Failed.

You may also identify which printer is encountering issues within the printer list.

In the Kitchen Printing Failed list, you will be able to identify which order is having issue through logic below (Depending which is available) :

a) Table ID (Example: Table 5) or

b) Order Sequence (Example: #0001) or

c) Order ID (Example: 0002206011456075)

3. You may decide to:

  • Reprint the orders by selecting the Reprint button

  • Remove specific orders by selecting the Bin button beside that particular order

  • Select Clear All to remove all orders.

4. The status will changed to Printed if the order is successfully reprinted. However if the order failed to print again, an error of Reprint Failed will be shown and you might need to re-check your printer connection.

5. If you wish to clear all orders, select Clear All then tap on Proceed.

Note:

If your kitchen printer is still not printing:

1. Turn off your printer and wait for 3–4 minutes and turn the printer back on.

2. Use the StoreHub app to search for the printer again and reconnect.

3. Ensure that both your printer and POS device are connected to the same local WiFi network.

Identify Unassigned Printer

An auto prompt message will be shown if a product is assigned to a kitchen printer in the BackOffice, but POS did not assign to a printer.

You will be directed to the Printer settings page once you clicked on Assign now.

Identify which printer is unassigned and toggle ON the printer option accordingly to get your kitchen dockets printed.
