Reconfigure TP-Link Archer C6 Configuration


1. While the router is powered on, press and hold the reset button with a pen. When the power light on the front blinks, you can let go of the button.

Resetting the router will take approximately three minutes.

2. After the three minutes have passed, you want to reconnect to the newly reset router. The default SSID and password are located at the bottom of the router.

3. Now, in any browser, type http://tplinkwifi.net.

Once on this page, type welovestorehub in the two spaces provided and click Let's Get Started.

4. Simply click "Advanced" on this page.

5. Now, on the bottom left of this page, look for "System Tools" and select it.

6. Now, on the drop-down menu, select Backup & Restore.

7. Now, click the Browse button. Choose a recovery file. Now, once you've made your selection, click Restore.

8. The router will automatically begin updating the new configuration, and the new SSID will be Storehub.

Troubleshooting Weak WiFi Signal

1. Move the router closer to your iPad if possible.

2. Make sure your router is not close to devices such as a TV or microwave (as they have an electromagnetic field).

3. Minimise or remove any metal or magnetic materials close to the router.

4. If you have a mesh device, try installing it to boost the WiFi signal.
