Reset your ASUS RT-AX56U router

1. Locate the reset button at the back of your router – you can find it next to the USB ports

2. Using a pin or a SIM ejector, press and hold the Reset button for 6 seconds until the LED lights turn off and on again

3. On a computer, open a web browser and go to this website: http://router.asus.com/Main_Login.asp

4. Click on the Click here to continue link.

5. When a pop-up appears, click Yes to continue.

6. When presented with a security warning, click Advanced, then click Proceed to 10.1.2.1 (unsafe).

7. You have now reached the RT-AX56U configuration page; from here, click Advanced Settings.

8. In the Internet Operation Mode page, click Upload to apply this configuration file: Here

Note: Make sure to download the file onto your computer first

9. After the file has been uploaded, you may lose your Internet connection and the page may be unresponsive - but don’t worry, your router has already been configured.

When this happens, go to your WiFi settings and select .StoreHub_5G; key in the password that has been provided to you by our StoreHub representatives.

10. You should be greeted with a Summary page that says your Internet connection setting has finished.

11. You can now connect your POS register to the newly-configured WiFi.

Troubleshooting Weak WiFi Signal

1. Move the router closer to your POS Register if possible.

2. Make sure your router is not close to devices such as a TV or microwave (as they have an electromagnetic field).

3. Minimize or remove any metal or magnetic materials close to the router.

4. If you have a mesh device, try installing it to boost the WiFi signal.

You might need to reconnect your printers to POS Register after troubleshooting your router. Refer to this article for more details.
