Manage Stock Returns With CSV Files

Importing CSV files into the BackOffice to manage stock returns.

Stock Return

1. At your BackOffice, click the Stock Management title page

2. Select Stock Return.

3. To import items into your Stock Return, download the template by clicking Import Items by CSV, and then CSV template.

4. Open the downloaded template, and delete the Sample product row.

5. Fill in the product details in the template and save the file. You can now import it back into the BackOffice

For Serialized Products (Click to Expand)

To obtain your serial numbers:

  1. Go to Products, and search for your item

  2. Click on a serialised product that you require for Stock Transfer

  3. Scroll down to Inventory Type

  4. Click on 'Manage Serial Numbers' next to the store

6. Key in the serial numbers under the 'Serial Numbers' column. Use semicolons (;) to separate multiple serial numbers.

Note: Serial numbers containing semicolons (e.g., 01;0200) can't be included in the CSV. To transfer these products, select them individually in the Stock Return page.

6. Go back to the Stock Return page and click Select File; select the file that you have just saved and click Import

7. If your items were imported successfully, you should see your items on your Items to Return list.

8. Review the list, and click Save once you are satisfied.

However, if your items were not imported successfully, click "download this CSV" to download and review the errors.

Open the downloaded CSV, and you should see the reason for the import failure; fix the errors in the original file, and try importing again.


While filling up the template with your products and their return info, you will need to also key in the Product IDs. There are 2 methods for doing this:

Method 1:


1. Go to BackOffice, then click Products and search for your items

2. Click the checkboxes of the products needed for your Purchase Order

3. Then, click Export to CSV, which will download a CSV file that contains the Product IDs

Method 2:

1. Go to BackOffice, then click Products and search for your items

2. Click on a product that you require for your Purchase Order, then look at the URL at the top of your browser.

3. The Product ID is identified as the group of text behind id=
