How to Track Bundle Products

Scenario

Assume you're selling A Fragrance Set comprising Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume.

Track your Individual Products

1. Create Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume individually as separate products & track under Simple Inventory type.

2. Key in the selling price / set selling price as 0 if you do not sell these products individually.

3. Set the Stock Quantity & Save to complete the settings.

Track the stock quantity based on the amount you have purchased from the supplier. Bottle is use to track the stock quantity for this case.

Track your Main Product (Bundle / Set)

1. Create a new product (Fragrance Set), set the selling price & track under Composite Inventory Type.

Note: Select Save before you proceed to next step. The component table appears upon saving.

2. Add components and link to the Fragrance Set product.

Example:

As the Fragrance set comprise Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume. Whenever a Fragrance Set is sold, 1 bottle of stock deduct from each Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume.

Based on this example, Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume should be added as the component.

3. Set Default Usage. Default usage refers to the quantity of Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume needed to sell a Fragrance Set.

Example:

With every sale of 1 Fragrance Set, 1 bottle of each Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume will be deducted from the stock.

Set Default Usage of the components (Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume) as 1.

4. Save to complete the settings.

When you sell 1 Fragrance Set, this is how it will reflect in the BackOffice for your Shampoo, Conditioner & Perfume product quantity that you created in Step 1.
