Applying Discount on POS

Second entry point:
Tap on the Discount and the option will pop out to add Special Discount.
2. Select Category to confirm the Special Discount.
3. For Senior Citizens/Persons with Disabilities (SC/PWD), you can apply two types of discounts: 'Standard' and 'MEMC'.
Notes:
Standard Senior/PWD Discount
This is a percentage-based discount. It's calculated as 20% off the actual items a senior citizen or PWD buys for their personal consumption. The total discount amount changes depending on what they order.
MEMC Discount (Only applicable for F&B businesses)
This is a calculation-based discount. Instead of using the customer's actual order, you take 20% off a fixed amount, which is the price of your "Most Expensive Meal Combination" (MEMC). This is used as a standard cap for situations like take-out, delivery, or shared group meals where one person's exact share is hard to determine.
Standard Discount
Select 'Standard', then enter the correct number of customers that are Senior Citizens/Persons with Disability.
For each Senior Citizen or Person with Disability added, new fields will appear. Fill in the 'Name', 'SC ID' (for Senior Citizens) or 'PWD ID' (for Persons with Disability), and 'Tax Identification Number' (TIN). If TIN is missing, consider acceptable entries like 'NA' or zeroes.
Note:
The total number of customers must be higher or equal to the total number of senior citizens and Persons with Disability.
MEMC (Most Expensive Meal Combo) Discount
To use the MEMC discount, you must first set a 'MEMC Base Value' in your BackOffice. The discount calculation is based on this value, so this one-time setup is required.
Note:
