Steps to offer staff discounts automatically or manually via your POS Register and BackOffice.
Important Notes
Manual discount is only applicable for Offline (POS) & Beep QR (Pay Later) orders.
It is only applicable when orders are saved (Not paid).
Automated Discounts
Employee discounts can be set by enabling the Taking Amount Off or Taking Percentage Off features via the BackOffice.
The steps below will explain how:
1. Go to Customers settings in the BackOffice and add your employees as customers into the POS system and give them tags such as employee; then click Save.

2. Create a promotion for this discount. Under Customer Eligibility select Employee under Specific groups of customer.
Note: Refer to these articles Take Percentage Off / Take Amount Off on how to create promotion.
3. Remember to Save and Sync your POS Register afterward.
4. This promotion will automatically take a percentage off the selected items.
Manual Discounts
1. Tap the item that has been added to the order.
2. Enable the Discount toggle and enter an amount - either in value or percentage - to offer the discount.
3. The item will now have its price reduced, and you can proceed to complete the transaction.
