Troubleshooting: Register Lagging

1. Make sure you have the latest version of the StoreHub (SH) POS app downloaded.

2. Remove any unused apps that are on the register (e.g. Spotify).

3. If you are using an Android register, make sure your OS is up to date.

4. Clear any cached data on your register.


POS Notifications Not Appearing


Make sure your Background App Refresh is switched off. Find out how to turn it on here.

Possible reasons:

  1. If the customer order is a pre- or self pickup order, you will only receive a notification 30-45 minutes before the fulfilment time.

  2. The customer has cancelled the order, or the order has been auto-cancelled because no rider could be found.


Late POS Notifications

Note:

  • The steps below require you to install the SH Manager app on your smartphone or personal iPad/Android tablet.

  • Please read this article to learn how to download and use the app.

For iOS (iPhone & iPad), follow these steps (Click to expand):

1. Go to your iPad Settings.

2. Then scroll down and tap the SH Manager app.

3. Toggle ON the Background App Refresh setting.

For Android, follow these steps (Click to expand):

1. Go to Android Settings.

2. Tap on Apps, then select Manage Apps.

3. Scroll until you find the SH Manager app.

4. Go to Data Usage.

5. Toggle ON Background Data / Background App Refresh / Background Activity.


Low/Quiet Notification Sound


1. Check that your device volume is not turned off, or adjust it accordingly to your preference.

2. If your environment is too noisy, you may want to consider moving your device.


Customer Facing Display (CFD) Error


1. If you are having issues with your CFD, your StoreHub (SH) POS app may have been closed.

2. Re-open the StoreHub POS app in your Register and reconnect to the CFD again.
