BackOffice: How to Reset Account Data

How to reset your account data in the BackOffice.

What You Will Learn in This Guide

  • How to reset sales transactions from your BackOffice.


Important Notes

  • This feature will delete ALL transactions from ALL stores.

  • Only the main account owner is able to view this feature.

  • The Reset Account Data option will only be available during the first 100 transactions in the account. After that, you will not be able to reset your account data.



What Happens to Your BackOffice after the Reset

Below are the listed items that will remain or reset once you click on the reset button:

  • Prices

  • Price Books

  • Stock Level

  • Employee Data



Steps to Reset Your Sales Data

1. In your BackOffice, click on Settings title page.

2. On the Account Settings page, scroll all the way down to Danger Zone and click on the Reset button next to Reset Account Data.

Notes:

  • A prompt will pop up after you select Reset Account Data; in case you accidentally clicked on the button.

  • Just type the word RESET in capital letters, and click the Reset button below.

3. Now we need to deactivate your StoreHub App before performing any real transactions. Learn how to deactivate your POS Register: Here

4. And you're done! Now you can reactivate your StoreHub App, and start with your real transactions. Learn how to activate your POS Register: Here

Note: If you need to reset your account data after reaching the limit, please reach out to our Care team. To maintain data compliance, your request will be reviewed and processed based on the reason for the reset.
