A step-by-step guide on how you to purchase SMS credits and set up sending bulk SMS; such as promotions and personalised deals, to your customers.
Important Notes
This feature is available for Advance and Pro Plan Users.
There is currently an issue with Digi (telco provider) where the SMS sent to Digi mobile numbers will split into multiple messages, even though the SMS is within 140 characters.
How to Set Up your SMS Credits
1. At your BackOffice, go to Settings, then click on SMS Billing, then select SMS.
2. You can select Key in number of SMS credits to top-up, then select Top-up Credits.
Notes:
If you purchase credits in bulk, you get to enjoy up to 15% in discounts!
The top-up button will be enabled if one of the following conditions are met:
Merchants have not subscribed to Engage or the trial has expired.
Self-pickup notification is not enabled.
Store credits change notification is not enabled, OR Beep Cashback is enabled.
3. Choose your payment methods.

Select your desired Bank Name then click Proceed to Payment
No Credit Card (click/tap to expand)

If you haven't added your credit card details in BackOffice, proceed to key in your card details, then click Proceed to Payment
Note: StoreHub will automatically renew your subscription upon expiry by charging this credit card
Notes:
The available payment methods are only applicable to Personal accounts and do not apply to Corporate accounts.
Online Banking payment option is NOT applicable for Singapore & Philippines
The minimum credit to Top-Up is 500 SMS.
How to Set Up Automatic SMS Credit Top-Up
1. At your BackOffice, go to Settings, then click on SMS Billing.
2. At the Auto Top-up Section, click the toggle to enable the feature.
3. In the When SMS Falls below field, set a threshold that - when reached - triggers the auto top-up.
Notes:
The minimum threshold is 100 Credits
Avoid setting a threshold that is too low to ensure your StoreHub Engage campaigns run as smoothly
4. In the Auto Top-up field, key in the number of credits you wish to reload every time you run low.
Note: The minimum top-up amount is 500 Credits
Note: You must insert an amount that is equal to or more than the threshold you have set
Example: Your threshold is set at 500 credits; therefore your auto top-up amount must be 500 credits or higher
5. Read the terms carefully and click the check box to continue
6. Click Save to complete the setup
How to Send Bulk SMS
1. In your BackOffice, go to Customers, then tick on your preferred customers.
Notes:
You may use the blank bar at the top of your customer list to search for your preferred customer, by simply key-in the name.
Selecting All in your customer list means it will be applied to all of your customer that is in the database.
If you select Visible in your customer list means that the customers which are only on the current page.
Note: The screenshots above have the customer information redacted for privacy purposes. In your own Customer page, you should see the customer's contact details in full.
2. Once your customers are selected, click Group Action and then Send SMS.
3. Enter your message into the box and click Send once you're done.
Notes:
The message to be sent has a limit of 160 English characters.
To test if the SMS has been sent, ensure that you also send it to a number other than your business mobile number; such as a relative, friend or staff.
