Who Is This For?
StoreHub merchants in F&B who need to create floor layouts, manage tables, merge or split orders between tables, and move orders to different tables.
Overview
This article covers everything about table management on your POS register. You will learn how to enable table layout, create floors and tables, use the table layout for daily operations, merge orders and tables, split orders and tables, and move orders to different tables. It also covers how these actions work with Beep QR Pay Later orders.
Before You Begin
Table Layout must be enabled in both BackOffice and the POS register.
Only one person should set up the layout at a time. Simultaneous edits may overwrite each other.
Merge, split, and move features apply to POS and QR Order and Pay orders only, not Beep Delivery orders.
Create table names in BackOffice (per POS register) before you build the visual layout on POS. Floor positions and layout do not sync from BackOffice; table names do.
If Multiple Register Sync (MRS) is enabled, you must complete the table layout setup on every register.
Step-by-Step Guide
Enable Table Layout
Notes:
Table names have to be created in BackOffice first. The layout will not sync from BackOffice, but table names will.
If Multiple Register Sync (MRS) is enabled, complete table layout setup on all registers.
In BackOffice
1. In your BackOffice, go to 'Settings', then tap 'POS Registers'.
2. Tap the POS register you want to enable Table Layout for.
3. Under 'Enable Table Layout', select 'Yes'.
4. Tap 'Save'.
On POS
Notes:
Table names on POS must match the names created in BackOffice exactly.
Spelling, spacing, and upper- and lower-case must be the same, or the layout may not sync or display correctly.
1. On your POS register, tap 'Sync' to pull the latest settings.
2. Go to 'Settings', tap 'Layouts', then toggle on 'Enable Table Layout'.
3. Tap 'Edit Table Layout'.
4. Tap the '+' button on the bottom right to add a floor. Enter the floor name.
5. Add tables by tapping the '+' button. Enter the table number and number of pax for each table.
6. Tap 'Save Layout'.
7. Return to the register page. You will see the tables you created.
Notes:
Visual layout (floors, table positions) is stored on each POS register. Table names originate from BackOffice; see the notes under Enable Table Layout.
To migrate a table layout from the old iOS app, refer to this article.

2. Choose the table on the desired floor (if you have more than one floor).
