Who Is This For?
StoreHub merchants who need to apply manual discounts to items or full bills, or set up and use takeaway orders on POS.
Overview
This article covers how to apply itemised and full-bill discounts manually on your POS register, and how to enable and use the takeaway feature for F&B businesses. You will also learn how additional takeaway charges work with tax, service charge, and discounts.
Before You Begin
You must be signed in to the StoreHub POS app with your 4-digit PIN.
Manual discounts only apply to offline POS transactions and Beep QR Pay Later orders.
Discounts can only be applied when orders are saved (not yet paid).
For takeaway: the feature must be enabled in BackOffice first.

1. On the register screen, add items to the checkout list.
2. Tap on the item you want to discount.
3. Toggle the discount slider to the ON position.

2. Tap 'Discount' below the subtotal.
3. In the pop-up, choose to offer a discount by percentage (%) or by amount (RM). Enter the discount value.

2. Apply the discount using the same steps above (itemised or full-bill).

Take Takeaway Orders on POS
Whole Order Takeaway
1. On the register screen, select 'Takeaway' from the dropdown next to the three-dot icons.
2. Add items to the order.
Notes:
If there is an additional takeaway charge, the amount will be added to the item price automatically.
If service charge is enabled, it will be toggled off automatically for orders that contain takeaway items only.
After the transaction is completed, service charge will be toggled back on.
Whole Order Takeaway via Table Layout
1. If Table Layout is enabled, tap 'Take Away' to skip the table selection and create a takeaway order.
Note:
Table layout is not used for takeaway orders that contain takeaway items only.
Specific Item Takeaway (Dine-In Order)
1. On the register screen, create a dine-in order and add items.
2. Tap an item and toggle on 'Takeaway' for that specific item.
Notes:
A 'Takeaway' tag will appear under the item name.
If there is an additional takeaway charge, it will be shown next to the Takeaway tag.
Specific Item Takeaway via Table Layout
1. Select a table, then add items to the order.
2. Tap an item and toggle on 'Takeaway' for that specific item.
Note:
If you have enabled 'Group Multiple of The Same Item', you cannot mark a single item as takeaway when multiple of the same item have been grouped together.
For example, if 3 Beep Mee are grouped, you cannot set just 1 as takeaway.
