Types of Storage Alerts
Your POS shows different alerts depending on how much storage is left.
Alert | When It Appears | What It Means |
Storage Running Low | 200MB–500MB of free space | You can still use the POS, but clear space soon |
Storage Full | Less than 200MB of free space | POS functions will be blocked |
Understanding POS Storage Alerts
1. Storage Running Low
This is a warning. You can still open/close shifts and continue using POS, but we recommend clearing space.
When this appears
1. When you open a shift
2. After you close a shift and data syncs
Notes:
You’ll see this when your device has 200MB to 500MB of space left.
You should clear space immediately to avoid disruptions or data loss.
Options You'll See
Go to settings
1. Tap to open your device’s storage settings.
2. Click on Manage Storage to free up your storage space.
Note:
Tapping this does not automatically free up space—you'll need to manually delete unused apps, large files, or media to reduce storage usage.
Continue anyway
1. Tap if you need to proceed now (not recommended).
2. Storage Full
This alert means your device has critically low storage. Some POS functions may stop working until space is cleared.
When it appears
Opening a shift
You can’t open a shift. The button is disabled.
During a shift
You can complete checkouts as usual. Please free up storage immediately to avoid any issues with saving new orders.
After closing a shift
You’ll get a warning that storage is full.
Options You’ll See
Go to settings
1. Tap to open device storage settings.
2. Click on Manage Storage to free up your storage space.
Notes:

You can still access Settings or Support tabs, but sales operations will be blocked until space is freed.
3. Unexpected Error
