Membership: How to Review Customer Points and Details

A guide on viewing customer membership details from the merchant's perspective (BackOffice, POS) and the customer's perspective (Beep App, Web).

Points Balance on the Membership Details page


Merchants View: Customer Details and Membership Points

Via BackOffice

1. In the BackOffice, click on Customers and search for the specific customer; select the customer's profile.

2. You will reach the customer profile page and will be able to view or edit customer membership points.

3. To edit membership points, select the pencil icon in the Points Balance section. Once adjusted, click on Save.

Notes:

  • Manually Adjusting Points:

    • Add: Increase points in the customer’s profile.

    • Deduct: Decrease points from the customer’s profile.

    • Set As: Adjust the total points in the customer’s profile.

  • Manually adjusting points in the Backoffice will automatically upgrade the customer to the next tier the following day.

4. To view the points history, navigate to the 'Points' tab.

Via POS Register

1. On the POS register, add a customer to the Order; then tap on the expand option.

2. You will be directed to the customer's profile, where you can view detailed information about their Membership Tier and Points balance.


Customer View: Accessing Membership Details

Customers can now conveniently check their own membership status, points, cashback balances, and available rewards across all merchants they are associated with through a dedicated web portal.

Via Beep App

1. Open the Beep App.

2. Navigate to the 'Rewards' section.

3. Tap on the 'Membership' tab, and tap on the store you want to check your membership for.

Via Beep Web

Option 1: Merchant-Specific Membership Page

Members can check their membership with your store using this method:

1. Direct them to the URL with this format: [merchant].beepit.com/member

  • Replace [merchant] with your merchant account name

2. Members log in using their phone number and OTP (One-Time Password).

3. Members can view their membership details:

a. Points balance

b. Current tier status

c. Available rewards

d. Transaction history with your store

Note:

If the customer is not currently a member of your program, they can sign up through this same link.

Where members can find this URL:

  • In-store display QR codes (table tents, counter displays, standees)

  • Digital marketing materials you share (social media, email, website)

Option 2: Multi-Merchant Membership List

Members can view all their memberships across different merchants in one place:

2. Members log in using their phone number and OTP (One-Time Password).

3. Members see a list of all merchants where they have active memberships.


Why can't my customer see my store on their list?

Your store will only appear on their list if your Membership or Cashback program is set to Live in the BackOffice. If your program is 'Suspended' or 'Not Live', it will be hidden from all customers.
