How are payout for Beep pre-orders processed?

Payout for pre-orders on Beep will only be processed when the order is fulfilled.

For example:

Merchant ABC received 2 orders on 1st of June:

  1. Order 001: On-demand order, to be fulfilled on the same day, 1st of June.

  2. Order 002: Pre-order, to be fulfilled on 3rd June.

*Using Malaysia Payout Cycle as example.

  • Transactions from Sunday to Monday, payout Wednesday (Same week).

  • Transactions from Tuesday to Wednesday, payout Friday (Same week).

  • Transactions from Thursday to Saturday, payout (NEXT Tuesday).

Payout 1 (to be paid on 4th June) will include Order 001 but not Order 002 because order 002 is scheduled for 3rd June.

Payout 2 (assume to be paid on 6th June) will include Order 002 because Order 002 is fulfilled on 3rd June.

If Order 002 is cancelled between 1st June to 3rd June, this order will not be processed in Payout 2.

How to filter transactions on Order Management based on fulfilment date?

There are times when you will want to compare the total transaction (or total amount) between Payout Report and Order Management page.

If you have enabled pre-orders, then to compare the number of transactions or total amount, you should:

  1. Filter transactions date to:

    1. Start date = Payout Start Date - 5 days (because pre-orders can be made 5 days in advance)

    2. End date = Payout End Date

  2. Filter Fulfillment date to:

    1. Start date = Payout start date

    2. End date = Payout end date

Note: If you are comparing sales numbers with the method above, discrepancy may still appear due to adjustment to payout after the payout is processed.
