Step-by-step guide on cancelling a POS transaction from the BackOffice.
Important Notes
This feature is only applicable for Offline POS Transaction.
Cancelling transactions in BackOffice, will not synced the data to your POS.
You are NOT suggested to cancel transactions from the BackOffice - this is to prevent your Sales Over Time and Shift Reports from not tallying.
You are suggested to cancel Same-Day transaction from POS. Refer to this article for more details.
How to cancel a transaction
1. In the BackOffice, select Transactions, click on Transactions. Then, select the intended transactions.
2. Click Cancel Transaction on the top right-hand corner of the page.
3. Type the word CANCEL in the field as per instruction to confirm the cancellation.
4. Click Cancel Transaction to finalise the procedure.
Notes:
You will be able to see Transaction Type: Sale (Cancelled) on your Transaction Details page.
You will also see the status of the cancelled transaction on the Transaction page.
