This guide provides step-by-step instructions for securely mounting your iMin Swan 1K KDS directly to a wall or using a separate wall bracket. Proper installation ensures your KDS is stable and positioned correctly for your kitchen staff.

Choose a suitable location on the wall that is easily visible to kitchen staff and away from excessive heat or moisture.
Ensure the wall material can support the weight of the iMin Swan 1K.

'Wall plugs' (also known as anchors, if needed for drywall, plaster, or other non-concrete walls)

Step-by-Step Guide
Installation Steps for iMin Swan 1K Directly to the Wall
This method uses the existing mount on the iMin Swan 1K to attach it directly to the wall.
1. Print the measurement template at its designated size to ensure accurate measurements.
2. Place the template on the wall where you plan to install the iMin Swan 1K. Use a 'pencil' to mark the four corner points for drilling.
3. Using a 'drill', carefully drill into the wall at the marked points. Select an appropriate drill bit size based on your wall material and the '4 mm screws' you are using.
4. If necessary (e.g., for drywall), insert 'wall plugs' into the drilled holes for added stability.
5. Unscrew the mount that is currently attached to the iMin Swan 1K.
6. Align the detached mount with the drilled holes on the wall and fasten it using the '4 mm screws'.
7. Reattach the iMin Swan 1K device to the mounted bracket and secure it with its original screws. Ensure the device is firmly fastened.
Installation Steps for Wall Bracket and iMin Swan 1K
This method uses a separate wall bracket (not included with the iMin Swan 1K) for more flexible mounting options.
1. Measure the desired height and alignment for your wall mount. Use the backplate of your wall bracket (typically 181 mm height, 50 mm width) as a template to mark the screw positions on the wall.
2. Using a 'drill', drill into the wall at the marked positions. Choose the appropriate drill bit size based on your wall material and the '4 mm screws'.
3. If necessary, insert 'wall plugs' into the drilled holes for added stability.
4. Align your wall bracket with the drilled holes and fasten it securely using the '4 mm screws'.
5. With the wall bracket firmly mounted, align the VESA holes (100 mm x 100 mm) on the back of the iMin Swan 1K with the mounting plate on the bracket arm.
6. Insert and tighten the '4 mm screws' through the mount holes into the back of the display, securing it in place.
