Quick Fix for Errors in Barcodes

1. Open TextEdit on (MacOS) or open Notepad (Microsoft Windows).

2. Open the CSV file in TextEdit / Notepad.

3. Press COMMAND/CTRL + A to select all and COMMAND/CTRL + C to copy the raw text to Google Sheets.

4. Open Google Sheets. Paste the data in Column A1.

5. Go to Format > Number and change the entire sheet to Plain Text.

6. Highlight the 1st column (Column A), go to Data > Split Text to Column. Then, all leading zeroes will appear in the barcode column.

7. Finally, apply a Filter or Pivot Table to find out which barcode has the leading zero.

8. And you're done! You should now be able to upload your barcodes to the BackOffice error-free.


Chinese Characters Display Incorrectly

Use Google Sheets to Display Chinese Characters Correctly

1. Sign up for a Google account OR log in with your existing Google account and head to Google Sheets.

2. Click New and then upload the CSV you'd like to edit by going to File > Open > Upload.

3. After you've edited accordingly on Google Sheets, export your CSV by going to File > Download As > CSV (Comma Separated Value).

4. Upload the CSV file to the BackOffice.


You should now be able to view your product names in Chinese characters in the BackOffice!
